KC led 28-21 at halftime thanks to a 95-yard pick-six by Julian Payne in the second quarter.
The Rangers preserved the victory by outscoring NMMI 13-0 in the fourth quarter, earning a 48-23 victory over the Broncos.

KC (3-0, 2-0) will play its first game at R.E. St. John Memorial Stadium next week, on Saturday, Sept. 23, facing Navarro College at 7 p.m. PURCHASE TICKETS ONLINE
Navarro is 1-2 overall (1-1 SWJCFC) after losses to Hutchinson (42-6) and NMMI (50-30). The Bulldogs' one win was Sept. 16 against Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College, 42-0.
