Kilgore College will recognize former athletes, coaches and contributors during its annual Hall of Fame Induction Weekend, set for Oct. 4–5.
New York City, NY — The NFL announced the 2025 NFL Pro Bowl Games players for the AFC and NFC. The Pro Bowl Games will occurred Feb. 2, and three former NJCAA student-athletes have earned this distinct honor. One of the players selected was former KC football player Lane Johnson. Lane Johnson attended Kilgore (TX) College and played quarterback and tight end for the Rangers. He transferred to Oklahoma and was the practice squad quarterback during a redshirt season. He switched to a tight end and a defensive end in the fall of 2010. After some injuries on the offensive line, Johnson made the switch, and his career changed forever.
Kilgore College will once again honored former standout athletes, coaches and contributors at its annual Hall of Fame Banquet on Saturday, Oct. 5.
Kilgore College Football was awarded with the Danny Palmer East Texas Team Community Service Award at the 18th Annual East Texas Kick-Off Luncheon at the W.T. Brookshire Conference Center in Tyler.
The National Junior College Athletic Association announced this week that Kilgore College has 12 student-athletes named to the NJCAA All-Academic Team.
