Navarro rallies in second half to stun No. 3 Rangers, 24-20

With 2:03 left in the game, Navarro trailed the Rangers 20-17 and faced a fourth ane one from the KC one yardline.
Rather than settling for a game-tying field goal, Navarro went for the lead -- and was successful -- as Dane Jentsch scored on a QB keeper from the one yard-line to put the bulldogs ahead, 24-20.
KC had one last desperation drive with minutes waning, and made it to the Navarro 13-yard line with 2.9 seconds left.
A pass in the end zone fell incomplete as the Bulldogs held on for the upset win over the nationally ranked Rangers.
Navarro improves to 2-2 overall and 2-1 in the SWJCFC with its second-straight road win. The Rangers drop to 3-1 and 2-1 in conference play.
KC travels next week to face Cisco College and returns home Oct. 7 to face non-conference opponent Gordon Prep.
