KC’s Derrick Martin named SWJCFC Co-MVP, Donerio Davenport named Offensive Player of the Year

Kilgore College football dominated all Southwest Junior College Football Conference (SWJCFC) selections with the most players from any team named as First-Team SWJCFC (10) and two Rangers garnering major awards as Co-MVP and Offensive Player of the Year for the 2022 season.

Co-MVP of the conference was Derrick Martin (6'0, 300, DL from Dickinson) and Donerio Davenport (6'0, 200, RB from Mansfield) was named SWJCFC Offensive Player of the Year.

Martin and Davenport join 10 other Rangers named SWJCFC First-Team and two Rangers named SWJCFC Second-Team.

Also, Willie McCoy was named First-Team as both a wide receiver and a return specialist.

Fourteen other Rangers were named to the conference's honorable mention list.
